The Good Practice series started after I realized that I haven't had the chance to make a music video in a while. So, to keep from getting to rusty on the editing skills I figured I'd whip up a quick video for practice. At this time I just started working on putting a mix tape together called Picking Up The Slack Pt. 2 and needed to practice on that too. With nothing else but space and opportunity....

A Pole Story
This is My first feature film that I edited during my last semester at Midwestern State University. It is documentary of an exotic dancer in the Wichita Falls, TX area. Needless to say since this was assignment for a credited university I was a little nervous to show it to a panel of professors and an auditorium filled with spectators. However, it was well received and it ended up winning two awards at the TIPA conference. Enjoy
Football is Back!!
Tis the season to talk smack, tailgate, scream at the T.V., and ignore your significant other. Yes, football season is back with a vengeance so for this flyer I went with a Dallas Cowboy theme. Trey is a barber at LT'z Barbers and Braids and a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan. He also wanted to make it look as if he was cutting his own hair, which we think worked out pretty well. If you want to check him out here is Trey's Facebook Page

"Live Long and Prosper"
I must admit this graphic design took a very long time and drained my creativity for at least two days. However, it was worth the strain because the end result is pretty cool (excuse me while I toot my own horn). Once again I would like to thank LT'z Barbers and Braids & J Rock for giving me the opportunity to work with them and their staff.

Stylish Stylist
To kick off the very first post made in a long time we would like to give a HUGE shout out to LT'z Barbers and Braids! They really opened up the shop and their minds to us and gave us a lot of creative freedom on the flyers. This particular flyer features the stylist of LT'z floating along the night clouds. A lot of people have been asking me how I did this and every one that has asked has received the same answer, patience. The process after explained is fairly easy its executing the task that is the hard part.
